WHO WE ARE

The Anchor Project, a New Jersey nonprofit dedicated to supporting moms and families impacted by domestic violence, human trafficking, and housing instability. Our mission is to provide free legal help, housing support, and job training by partnering with schools, trade programs, and local sponsors.

With the help of student and volunteer attorneys, we guide clients through legal documents and representation, making the process simple and accessible. Beyond legal aid, we also create opportunities for moms and kids to reconnect through community events, concerts, and family activities—because healing means restoring both stability and joy.

At our core, we believe every mom deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to rebuild her life with confidence.

WE ARE ALL SURVIVORS.

WE WERE ONCE VICTIMS TOO.

We are licensed and credentialed victim advocates who truly understand what it takes to take that first brave step toward healing. As survivors and supporters of those affected by human trafficking and domestic violence, when we say “you are not alone, and we understand,” we mean it. Give us a call.
